Early Life
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, home of the Alamo. As a little girl my parents always told me I could be whatever I wanted to be. I remember telling them I wanted to be an inventor, a private investigator, a detective, a lawyer and more recently, a doctor. Their never-ending support always helped me believe I could actually become any of those things. I owe my success and accomplishments to them and the rest of my family for supporting me and helping me become the best that I can be. And I can honestly say, I'm not done yet.
Education
I am a recent graduate from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. I received my Bachelors degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Media studies. I hope to become a media specialist or work for the government in their corporate communications division.
I am intending to apply at Incarnate Word for my Masters degree or at a university in Washington.
Internship
I finished my internship in May at the San Antonio Botanical Garden and at the San Antonio Botanical Society. These two places have given me so much experience in preparing brochures, soliciting entertainment for their official fiesta event Viva Botanica, and just networking with different companies that are used by the Garden and Society.
